Tanisha Andersen and Megan Meylor filled a niche in their small Midwestern city with an upscale, contemporary, “big city” salon. Combining their industry experience and a shared dream, Tanisha and Megan created their salon with a funky, yet comfortable attitude. From the moment you walk in the doors of their full-service salon, you’ll notice a stunning attention to detail. Shimmering antique chandeliers set the mood, while cool music plays and stylists and their guests carry on friendly conversation amidst an eclectic mix of vintage and contemporary furniture. Gloss stands out in the metro area as a salon to see and be seen; a mecca for women and men who know what high-quality, upscale customer-centered services are all about.
Tanisha has been in the industry for six years. Her passions include makeup, fashion, and martinis. With her finger on the pulse of current trends and fashion, she is sure to make your look stand out. Megan has enjoyed over a decade in the industry and is on the cutting edge of all things beautiful and trendy. As co-proprietors of Gloss, Tanisha and Megan take pride in their experienced, highly talented staff. Continuing education is a priority for every stylist in the salon. Keeping current in the latest industry advancements enables them to deliver their personal knowledge of hair and makeup trends to their clients with an accessible, honest approach.
